MotiveHosting provide bespoke managed dedicated server solutions for customers who need the performance, reliability, control and security benefits of a dedicated server without the day-to-day maintenance, management hassles and the need for 24/7, resilient Internet connectivity.
We source high quality hardware from proven manufacturers to ensure reliability and compatibility with your application. As a minimum specification, all servers are provided with hardware-mirrored hot-swap drives (RAID 10) and base components that allow upgrades to your server with minimal downtime and expense.
MotiveHosting will provide all of the on-going maintenance and support, ensuring your hosting requirements or business critical systems are available and performing effectively 24/7. This is a vital service for some clients, but we are equally aware that one-size doesn’t fit all and consequently we offer a tiered level of service.
- Ideal for standard hosting and email services for clients who run a typical 9-5, Mon to Fri business.
- 24/7 Email support.
- 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays, direct telephone support to the data
centre support engineers. - Out of hours support via our 24/7 call centre
- Standard server maintenance (see next page)
- All data is backed up daily and retained for 7 days. You may request a restore from the tapes up
to once per month, any additional data re stores will be charged at the prevailing hourly rate.
- Ideal for business critical or 24/7 ecommerce hosting services requiring 24/7 support. (This excludes any software development /application support)
- All the features of the Business Class support package
- Enhanced server maintenance (see next page)
- All calls received by the call centre will be logged and escalated to a duty engineer for response
within 4 hours - All data is additionally backed up to near-line hard drives. You may request a restore from the
tapes up to 5 times per month, any additional data restores will be charged at the prevailing
hourly rate
- Ideal for business critical or 24/7 ecommerce hosting services who require 24/7 support with escalation to software development/application support
- All the features of the Enterprise Class support package

- All calls received by the call centre will be logged and escalated to a duty engineer for response
within 4 hours, if the issue is identified to be the application then the call is escalated to a duty
software engineer - All data is streamed offsite daily and encrypted either to one of our remote data stores or to
another location of your choice (Note there may be an additional one-off set up fee).
